The açaí bowl is made with berry sorbet instead of yogurt and a ton of fresh fruit, which was a cool treat. All of the fruit is fresh and ripe and great (including the fresh-pressed orange juice).

Lovely place for a coffee to go, breakfast or brunch. It wasn't very busy at 9am, but around 10am more people started coming in. While the team didn't speak English, they did understand our order and were very helpful! Google Translate to the rescue :) We didn't get any of the baked goods, but the baklava looked delicious!

What an amazing place… the food was exceptional. As a vegetarian - all too often the food you get is bland and an afterthought. The grilled veggies on toast were so well cooked and so delicious, I am only sad I don’t live in Ulm to visit all the time! Also the female waitress who served us was absolutely fantastic!

I went for breakfast and was blown away by the variety. The Simit was perfectly baked, the Menemen full of flavor, and the Baklava? Absolutely divine. You can really taste the love and authenticity in every bite. The coffee was top-notch too—smooth and rich, just the way I like it. Service was warm, attentive, and genuine. You can tell the team truly cares about their guests. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to come back to again and again—whether for a lazy Sunday brunch or a quick lunch in the city. Highly recommend reserving a table in advance—it’s popular for good reason!

We ended up here very spontaneously without reservation and the staff were so polite and inspite of it being almost full they made sure we got a seat immediately! I was really amazed. To top it further their brunch was just amazing and one must definitely try their sesam bread! Its amazing! Their washrooms are super clean!

Charming Brunch Spot with Soulful Touches – Mery’s Café & Kitchen, Ulm We enjoyed a leisurely brunch at Mery’s Café & Kitchen in Ulm, a place that feels like a warm embrace on a quiet morning. The menu offered a thoughtful mix: I had muesli with fresh fruit and creamy yogurt, while my companions tried the avocado with sunny side up eggs and a Turkish-style egg dish served with gently simmered tomatoes — each plate prepared with care and full of flavour. The cappuccino was a true highlight — rich, smooth, and lovingly poured. Their Turkish tea, served in the traditional glass, brought a taste of Istanbul right to our table. And the baklava — if that’s what it was — golden, flaky, and just sweet enough, was a delightful finish. The bagel was very good, with an excellent chew and crust. The overall quality of the food and presentation was consistently high. The atmosphere? Calm and inviting, with charming décor that encourages you to linger. The service runs at a relaxed pace — not rushed, not inattentive — which suited the setting beautifully. If I had one gentle critique, it would be the €1,80 charge for a small portion of jam or butter — it felt a bit out of step with the generous spirit of the place. Still, this is a minor quibble in an otherwise highly recommendable café. We would gladly return.

A Perfect Spot for a Relaxing Breakfast in Ulm I recently had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at this charming little spot in Ulm, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. As someone who was dining alone, I really appreciated the welcoming, yet not overbearing service – the staff were attentive but gave me the space to relax and enjoy my morning. The food was excellent, with generous portions that offered great value for money. When I couldn't finish everything, the staff even proactively asked if I’d like to have the leftovers packed up, which was such a thoughtful touch. The ambiance was perfect for a slow, peaceful morning. The music was just right – calming and pleasant, adding to the laid-back atmosphere. And to top it all off, the coffee was spot on, rounding out a wonderful breakfast experience. If you're looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a quiet, delicious breakfast in Ulm, this place is definitely worth a visit!
